Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding everything you see.

My mind is filled with venomous lies

And my heart is frozen in blackened ice

As my flesh decays I seethe with rage

At the prospect of spending my life like this

 

I try to embrace my goddesses face

But my wings break and I fall from grace

Landing amongst those who rape and kill

While your god says they must have free will

 

I take my place on a throne of bones

And proclaim myself their king

The rivers run red with blood that’s been shed

From the innocents who’ve been slain

 

There’s destruction all around me

There are blazing fires everywhere

I smell the stench of burning bodies

And screams of terror fill the air

 

This is my forsaken kingdom

A place I rule with cruelty and despair
